Tay Ninh: Joint efforts to eliminate substandard houses, ensure social welfare

Themed “Global young Vietnamese intellectuals contribute to the nation’s advancement into a new era,” the sixth Global Forum for Young Vietnamese Intellectuals created a multi-dimensional dialogue platform where young intellectuals shared ideas and jointly outlined new directions in key areas such as science and technology, innovation and entrepreneurship, education, health care, smart agriculture, climate change, and digital transformation.

Deputy PM Tran Hong Ha ordered round-the-clock operations across ministries, agencies, and local authorities, with decisions guided by hourly updates and three-hour forecasts from the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.

Over the years, the Red Journey Programme, the VRCS, and the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam have partnered with the Thai Consulate General to organise regular blood donation events every July and December.

The “Green Weekend” programme encompasses renovating martyr cemeteries and hero memorial sites, sorting and collecting household waste, addressing improperly located garbage collection points, clearing drainage channels and sewers, and planting trees in residential areas, among others.

As of 6:00 pm, rescue teams had saved two more individuals from a tourist boat that sank in Ha Long Bay, bringing the total number of people rescued - both passengers and crew member - to 12. Since its inception in 2018, the Global Forum for Young Vietnamese Intellectuals has been organised annually by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee. Over five editions, more than 1,000 young Vietnamese intellectuals at home and abroad have contributed to youth talent development programmes and policies.

To ensure compliance with traffic regulations and protect tourists, the National Traffic Safety Committee requested that Hanoi and Lam Dong, the two localities with growing numbers of such services, direct their Departments of Construction and relevant agencies to inspect and strictly handle these unauthorised operations.
